Dr. Dan Adamietz is a certified Sports Chiropractor with 15 years of experience in sports medicine as an Athletic Trainer. He has focused on individuals who want to move in their own way, for as long as they can, and pain free. His experiences have given the perspective of focusing on quality of life as well as longevity. Everyone has something they wish to do that brings them joy. Whether this is running for as long as they can, playing the best round of golf they can imagine, walking with their neighbors, picking up their grandchild, getting a new personal record, or being pain free for as long as possible. Dr. Dan comes from an athletics background where he learned to care for people from the moment they suffer an injury, guiding them through a customized treatment and rehabilitation plan, helping them return to activity, and giving them the tools to prevent it from happening again. He has worked with high school, collegiate, and olympic level athletes in his career spanning numerous sports including running, rowing, field and ice hockey, football, basketball, soccer, and BJJ. Dr. Dan graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN with his Doctorate of Chiropractic Sports Rehabilitation Emphasis and is excited to help people enjoy their choice of movement. He also earned his Master’s in Advanced Athletic Training and Sports Medicine from North Dakota State University following his Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training. Lastly he obtained his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialty while working as a member of the Sports Medicine team at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. After numerous injuries from the handful of sports I have played I understand what it is like to have that taken away, even temporarily. My goal is to work so that everyone can be active for as long as they desire, in whatever activity they choose. Dr. Dan continues to be active in the community with being a running coach through Mill City Running and competing on their race team. He has competed in distances ranging from 1 mile to 50 mile trail races including Eastern Canada in the Blue Mountains, to Southern California, and many places in between including more local races in the Twin Cities metro and up on the Superior Hiking Trail in Northern Minnesota.
