3237 King George Blvd, Unit 100, Surrey, BC, V4P 1B7
Susannah is the founder and owner of At Ease Physiotherapy. She has university degrees in Kinesiology and Physiotherapy as well as extensive post graduate training. Susannah earned her undergraduate Kinesiology degree in 2014 from UBC and her Masters of Physiotherapy in 2018 in Melbourne, Australia. With a special interest in injury recovery, digestive health, brain health, and nervous system function, Susannah has spent the past 6 years pursuing advanced training through the Barral, Upledger, and Chikly Institutes and Applied Neurology. Susannah’s treatment approach is unique, integrating gentle, hands-on techniques, acupuncture, dry needling and applied neurology based movement practices to help retrain the brain and transform how individuals move through their daily lives. Having grown up with multiple sports injuries, concussions, and digestive issues, Susannah is deeply committed to learning as much as possible about the body and empowering others with that knowledge. While traditional physiotherapy excels at addressing muscles, ligaments, joints, and bones, Susannah recognizes that it often overlooks the nerve, blood vessel, lymphatic, and organ systems on a structural level and most importantly the nervous system integration itself. These deeper systems are critical to survival and are often at the root of what muscles are protecting. By going beyond surface-level treatment and addressing these essential systems, Susannah achieves more lasting results, tapping into the nervous system’s innate intelligence to self-correct and heal. Outside of work, Susannah can be found training Olympic weightlifting movements like the snatch, clean and jerk, or squat at the gym. She also enjoys walking, skiing, Pilates, salsa dancing, and yoga.
