Brett is a Registered Kinesiologist with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists and a certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist with the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology. He holds a bachelor of Kinesiology, with a focus in Exercise Science and Training from Acadia University and a Master of Science degree in Human Health and Nutritional Sciences from the Human Performance and Health Research Laboratory at the University of Guelph. As an Exercise Physiologist, Brett has worked with Acadia’s Varsity Athletics, Guelph Varsity Athletics, provincial and national level athletes, and individuals experiencing functional limitations including cardiac conditions, diabetes and obesity. Brett developed his interest in injury rehabilitation and exercise performance through his own experiences racing in the Ontario and Quebec provincial downhill mountain bike series, snowboarding and playing on the Acadia University Men’s Lacrosse team. Outside of work, Brett spends most of his time in Squamish’s beautiful mountain bike trail network or exploring the Coast Mountains on his split board.
