Cate began her career as an engineer before following her passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine after experiencing firsthand the powerful impact acupuncture can have on a wide range of health concerns. Since graduating from the International Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2018, Cate has been dedicated to helping clients achieve their health goals through personalized, compassionate care. She also returned to the Academy as a teacher and clinic supervisor, sharing her knowledge with future practitioners until 2023. Cate offers acupuncture, acupressure, cupping, and gua sha, tailoring each treatment to the individual. She has a special interest in women’s reproductive health and is passionate about creating a welcoming space where clients feel heard, informed, and supported throughout their wellness journey. Whether you’re seeking relief from pain, managing stress, supporting your fertility or menstrual health, or simply looking to improve your overall well-being, Cate is committed to helping you feel your best. Initial treatment entails a full health history to come up with a Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis and treatment plan. This also includes a first treatment followed by a treatment plan recommendation based on your specific needs. ***Please verify with your insurance provider for coverage of acupuncture by a Registered Acupuncturist. Because most acu-points are accessed from the elbow to fingers, and knees to toes, for most appointments, you will be able to remain fully clothed if you opt to wear comfortable clothing that permits access to these areas. We also suggest that you bring a pair of shorts and t-shirt in case. This is not Registered Massage Therapy treatment with Acupuncture.
