Cate began her career as an engineer before transitioning into Traditional Chinese Medicine after witnessing firsthand the remarkable impact acupuncture can have on a wide range of health concerns. After graduating from the International Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Cate returned as a teacher and clinic supervisor, a role she held until 2023. In addition to acupuncture, Cate provides acupressure, cupping, and gua sha to support clients with diverse needs. She has a particular interest in women’s reproductive health and is passionate about helping clients feel informed, supported, and empowered in their wellness journeys.
Initial treatment entails a full health history to come up with a Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis and treatment plan. This also includes a first treatment followed by a treatment plan recommendation based on your specific needs. ***Please verify with your insurance provider for coverage of acupuncture by a Registered Acupuncturist. Because most acu-points are accessed from the elbow to fingers, and knees to toes, for most appointments, you will be able to remain fully clothed if you opt to wear comfortable clothing that permits access to these areas. We also suggest that you bring a pair of shorts and t-shirt in case. This is not Registered Massage Therapy treatment with Acupuncture.
