Brooke graduated from Sir Sandford Fleming college, as an RMT, in 2000, with a few breaks in her career to travel and start a family. In 2007, she moved to the Rockies to work in the Willowstream Spa at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. She enjoyed hiking, biking, and skiing while working in the high end spa, with a view of the mountains and the staff perks of using the facilities and Fairmont discounts. After traveling around New Zealand and Australia for over a year, she found her way back to Kingston and returned to being an RMT at the Kingston Orthopedic Pain Institute ( KOPI) in 2012. This is where she found how beneficial massage could be for chronic pain clients and their mental and physical health. In this multidisciplinary clinic she gained knowledge and experience, as well as a large client base of veterans affairs clients( VAC) suffering PTSD and chronic pain, motor vehicle accident (MVA) clients as well as patients suffering from concussions and migraines. While at KOPI she took Manual Lymphatic Drainage courses to better help patients, and more recently has become certified in oncology massage therapy. She has worked in physio, multidisciplinary clinics, gyms, and spa settings over the last 24yrs. Brooke is excited to start her practice at The Midtown Clinic welcoming old and new clients.
