Hello! My name is Heather and I have been a Board Certified Massage Therapist since 2006. I specialize in Manual lymphatic drainage for post surgery, pre and postnatal, and general wellness. Ever since I was a child, I have been unceasingly fascinated by the human body and all its endless capabilities. This fascination, paired with my love of helping others, led me to massage therapy. In 2017, after carrying and delivering twins myself, I experienced first hand the importance of loving support and care to women, especially during the pre and post natal period, and beyond! Naturally, I decided to focus my efforts on supporting women through specialized lymphatic care. My clients experience increased healing time, and reduced inflammation, scarring, and an overall improvement in their well-being. I have completed the Academy of Lymphatic Studies Manual Lymphatic Drainage class and have been taught and mentored by Angelica from Angelz Spa since the beginning of 2022 in advanced Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Post Surgery techniques.
IN-OFFICE: MLD is a very light, skin-stretching technique designed to support lymphatic circulation. This gentle technique encourages the movement of lymph fluid back into the circulatory system, which may help reduce swelling and inflammation, ease discomfort, support immune function, and calm the nervous system.
