Thu Yen Mac earned her Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA), the country’s first and oldest acupuncture school. It is a 3.3 year program that consists of over 3000 hours of academic training and clinical practice. In the last 1.5 years of the program, she did 925 hours in patient care clinic rotations at NESA, Boston Medical Center, Winchester Hospital, and Boston’s Pathways to Wellness Center. Thu Yen combines acupuncture, frequency specific microcurrent, herbal medicine, cupping, and red light therapy to help her patients heal from the inside out.
