Rowen is the Owner of The LAB Movement & Sports Med and has been working in the sports medicine, movement, and health and wellness field for over 10 years. A graduate of York University with a degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology, Rowen went on to complete his Personal Training certification before earning his Master’s Diploma in Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy. Over the past decade, Rowen has worked with athletes and active individuals of all levels, from recreational athletes to high-performance and professional athletes. His experience in the sports world has shaped his understanding of how the body moves, performs, and responds to stress — but his passion extends far beyond treating athletes. Rowen’s practice is centred around manual therapy and osteopathic principles, using a detailed understanding of anatomy and physiology to identify areas of dysfunction and help the body restore proper movement and function. His approach is highly individualized, recognizing that pain and movement limitations can present differently in every person. Whether working with a professional athlete looking to perform at their highest level, a weekend warrior dealing with an injury, or an active individual simply looking to move and feel better, Rowen’s goal is the same: help people get out of pain, move better, and get back to doing the things they love. His philosophy is rooted in the belief that the body is a dynamic, interconnected system — and that effective manual therapy should look beyond the location of pain to understand what is truly contributing to it. With over 10 years of experience, Rowen continues to combine his background in kinesiology, osteopathy, sports, and human movement to provide individualized care for athletes and active individuals alike
