Nani grew up in the Bow Valley and is a climber, mountain biker, and skier. As a Head Coach and former member of the Youth National Climbing Team as well as the local Canmore team, she intimately understands the impact these activities can have on the body. Driven by personal experiences with injuries, Nani pursued a Bachelor of Kinesiology in Athletic Therapy and a Master of Science at the University of Calgary’s Sport Injury Prevention Research Centre. Her research focused on climbing injuries, shedding light on issues affecting both youth and adult climbers. Building on her academic foundation, Nani earned a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta. Nani’s treatment emphasizes whole-body mechanics, and employs techniques like soft tissue manipulation, manual therapy, dry needling/IMS, and targeted exercises. She is dedicated not only to guiding post-injury rehabilitation but also prioritizing injury prevention as a core aspect of her practice. This helps patients to optimize health while also achieving peak performance.
