Andrea graduated with a degree in Kinesiology from McGill University where she had the opportunity to be an anatomy teaching assistant, work in a research lab and present her research at the ACSM Annual Meeting. Her love for the human body and movement grew even more when she worked as a student therapist with the Football team. She understood the value in learning and more importantly sharing her knowledge. From that point on, she decided that becoming a Physiotherapist was the option for her. Her goal was to help people regain independence and quality of life through movement and empowerment. She completed her Master in Physiotherapy from the University of Ottawa and started her professional career working with musculoskeletal conditions. After a while, her interest in Pelvic Health grew and she completed continuing education courses. Since then, she’s been taking annual courses to grow her knowledge and toolbox to address various pelvic health conditions. She calls it her Pelvic Mission. Outside of work, Andrea likes to enjoy the outdoors, read, cook and spend quality time with her loved ones.
