Dr. Cole Senchar was born and raised on Vancouver Island, where growing up active sparked a strong passion for athletics and the science behind injury and recovery. He completed his Bachelor of Kinesiology at Vancouver Island University before moving to Portland to continue his education at the University of Western States. This is where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic, as well as both a Master of Science in Sports Medicine, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. Dr. Senchar takes a multimodal, patient-centred approach to care, integrating the use of manual therapy through soft tissue techniques and chiropractic adjustments, as well as exercise-based rehabilitation to improve function and performance. He is passionate about delivering an evidence-based, and movement-focused approach to chiropractic care through personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual’s goals. He specializes in musculoskeletal injuries, with particular interests in the upper and lower extremities, low back pain, and neck pain and headaches. Whether helping patients recover from acute injuries, manage persistent pain, or optimize performance, his goal is to help people move better and stay active long term. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Senchar stays active by exploring local areas and discovering new hiking trails. He is also a lifelong soccer fan and competed at the university level during his undergraduate studies. Maintaining an active lifestyle himself, allows him to better relate to his patients’ concerns, understand their goals, and approach each individuals unique circumstance.
