Courtney started her academic career by completing a Bachelor degree in Science focusing on biology and human physiology. She then went on to graduate with a Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Manitoba in 2021. Courtney is an avid athlete and enjoys playing hockey and strength training in her spare time. She has played a variety of sports including volleyball, badminton, ringette, swimming, and track and field. Courtney hopes to become a sport physiotherapist and volunteer with women’s junior hockey among other sporting events in Manitoba. Courtney loves to teach exercises to help patients recover from and prevent injury. She also uses acupuncture, dry-needling, manual therapy, education, therapeutic modalities, and taping techniques to treat conditions. Courtney has an interest in concussion assessment and rehab, and sports injuries. She has taken additional courses on concussion rehabilitation and wants to continue to learn more concussion treatment techniques.
