Amy completed her Masters of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia and eagerly returned home to beautiful Vancouver Island to serve the local community. With a strong passion for anatomy, movement, and continuous learning, Amy was drawn to the physiotherapy profession for its dynamic problem-solving nature and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives. Amy’s treatment style integrates patient education, manual therapy, and individually tailored exercise programs designed to empower patients in managing their condition effectively and regain independence. Utilizing a biopsychosocial perspective, Amy considers not only the physical aspects of health but also the psychological and social factors to provide a well-rounded, multifactorial approach to rehabilitation. Dedicated to helping individuals restore function, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life, Amy treats all musculoskeletal injuries and has a special interest in neurological rehabilitation. Outside of the clinic, you can find Amy exploring local trails with her two dogs, running, weightlifting, or getting lost in a good book (often with a sweet treat from one of the many fantastic local bakeries in hand!)
