Initial Acupuncture Treatment

An initial Acupuncture appointment typically begins with a thorough consultation, where the Acupuncturist will ask about your medical history, lifestyle and specific concerns. This helps them understand your unique needs and develop a treatment plan. During the session, very fine sterile needles are gently inserted into specific points on the body to help balance energy, improve circulation and promote healing. (Other techniques, such as; Fire cupping, Gua Sha, Tui Na Massage and more may be applied.) Most people find the treatment relaxing, with little to no discomfort. Afterward the Acupuncturist may provide recommendations for follow-up care or lifestyle adjustments to enhance your wellness.
