Originally from the upstate New York region, encompassing the Albany/Syracuse area, I earned an associate's degree in Business Administration from a local college. I then relocated to Connecticut to embark on a career as a flight attendant, initially with what is now Southwest Airlines. Following a few years as a corporate flight attendant with Cigna, I leveraged my business acumen to manage various office buildings within Hartford County. Through professional networking, I transitioned to a promotions director role at a well-regarded country radio station. After marrying my husband of 35 years and raising three children, I became a full-time mother until 1997, when a health issue led me to my first massage at age 35. Upon reentering the workforce, I decided to integrate my diverse professional background and enrolled in massage therapy school at CCMT in Newington. This new career path allowed me to combine my passion for customer service, business principles, and the transformative benefits of massage therapy with others. Since 2002, I have provided professional massage therapy, hot stone massage, and spa services as an independent contractor, employee, and former business owner for the past 19 years. To further develop my massage therapy expertise, I have participated in workshops covering prenatal massage, Reiki, hot stone therapy, Qi Gong, fascia work, chair massage, and spa treatments. Clients have described my massage techniques as mindful, intuitive, nurturing, skillful, knowledgeable, and effective.
