Cate MacKay graduated from Centennial College with an honours diploma in Massage Therapy in 2000. She further certified as a Combined Decongestive Therapist from the Dr. Vodder School International the same year. Prior to her Massage Therapy training she completed a Bachelor of the Arts Degree with first class honours from Mount Allison University in Religious Studies with a focus on Ethics. She also has advanced training in Esalen Deep Tissue massage therapy. Cate has been a registration examiner for the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario since 2006. She is also an ADP authorizer for compression garments. Cate has extensive experience in treating work related injuries, motor vehicle accidents, venous insufficiency and lymphedema patients. She also works in palliative care. Her interests also include working with patients who present with diabetic foot ulcers, decubitious ulcers and surgical wound closure issues.
