Matt has been practicing massage since becoming licensed in 2007. He chose this path because he has a passion for helping others and a passion for healing. Matt started BodyTech in 2009 in an effort to best serve those in the Des Moines metro and beyond. In addition to his massage license Matt has acheived an orthopedic massage certification through James Waslaski and the Center for Pain Management. He also holds a bachelors degree in Kinesology from Iowa State University. With years of success and experience, he is capable of assessing your areas of concern in an effort to create a wellness plan that will help you live a pain free life.
This type of massage incorporates many massage modalities for the purpose of preventitive care including swedish, orthopedic, myofascial release, cupping, gua sha, and more. However, this massage is not as specific as IMT however, because it does incorporate the entire body.
