Calgary Youth Physiotherapy Ltd.
Physical Therapist Sydney joined the CYP team in 2023 after receiving both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta. She was inspired to pursue a career in physiotherapy during her time as a ballet dancer, where she had the opportunity to see how different injuries and conditions impact movement. Sydney enjoys working with children and adults with various orthopedic, neurological, and developmental conditions. She has completed training in level 1 and 2 trigger point dry needling, K-Taping, and rehabilitation post ACL repair. Sydney strives to bring a creative and fun approach to treatments, with a focus on function, participation, and independence. Sydney strongly believes that movement should be accessible to everyone and looks forward to helping clients reach their goals – whatever they may be! When not in the clinic, you can find Sydney hiking, skiing, or on the hunt for Calgary’s best restaurant.
