The TMJ 60 is an all inclusive intra-oral and extra-oral massage treatment that treats trigger points and myofascial pain syndrome in and around the temporomandibular joints and jaw. The therapist uses a gloved hand in the patients mouth and applies gentle, steady pressure on the origin and insertions of the medial and lateral pterygoid and masseter muscles to ease tension. The therapist may use many passes or recommend multiple treatments for optimal results. Included is a massage focusing on the head, neck and shoulders. heat is used when appropriate. A Head Spa Treatment and/or Infrared Sauna session before or after treatment is highly recommended. Every massage treatment includes a complimentary 30 min in our Calm Lounge, situated in the heart of our facility, and aromatherapy during your treatment.

This treatment is specificaly designed for overall wellness and treats edema and interstitial fluid retention. this service is highly recommended by Physicians and surgeons for recovery from a variable of procedures. An in-depth intake and assessment preceeds the service to address the primary concerns of the patient. the Pressure is very light and repetitive and should be followed by hydration and rest. a treatment plan may be implemented for best results.
