Carrie Ann Shnayder is a licensed massage therapist and a member of (AMTA) American Massage Therapy Association. She completed her associates degree in Science at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, Chicago and did her undergraduate studies in the medical field and is pursing a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine and is planning on graduating in the next year. Carrie Ann is certified in gua-sha, cupping, ashiatsu, and wood therapy body contouring. Carrie combines her knowledge of various massage therapy techniques, incorporating her knowledge of anatomy and physiology, pathologies, Chinese medicine, acupressure, nutrition and lifestyle modifications to treat a wide range of ailments including sports injuries and prevention, recovery from accidents, chronic pain management, trigger point therapy, psycho-emotional relaxation. She was a competitive bodybuilder for 20 plus years and played women’s ice hockey, so she has extensive experience working with athletes. She was also in a life changing car accident in 2005 that encouraged her to become a massage therapist and pursue her degree to become a Doctor of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine to help people in their healing journey.
