Dr. Jonathon Perry has an extensive background in the health and wellness industry dating back to a young age where he developed a strong appreciation for athletic training. He studied Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan and received his Doctorate of Chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2017. Dr. Perry has augmented his education by becoming certified in Functional Integrated Acupuncture, Athletic Movement Assessment (upper limb, lower limb, and therapeutics) and Fascial Abrasion Technique. He has attended courses in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (weightlifting focused) and other exercise based intervention courses. Dr. Perry is also an emergency first responder and has worked with various sporting teams (football, hockey, basketball) as a medic and athletic therapist. Dr. Perry develops a comprehensive personalized treatment plan for each patient to achieve their unique goals. He first identifies any painful symptoms and helps reduce the severity of these symptoms. Next he identifies movement deficiencies that could be potential root causes of pain and addresses them through movement-based strategies.
