DR. CAMERON J. ALLAN DIPAPPSCI., B.CHIRO,D.C., MCDBC, MCNAC Dr. Cameron Allan is a chiropractor in private practice in Port Coquitlam, BC, the CNAC board member for BC, and President and Chair for the Chiropractic Doctors of BC. He is a graduate of the New Zealand College of Chiropractic (NZCC), a second-generation chiropractor, and has been tri-registered in Australia, New Zealand and BC, Canada. Dr. Allan appreciates that every body of all ages from birth to beyond should have the opportunity to access quality chiropractic care, and advocates that everybody should have their spine and nervous system function properly and professionally analyzed, regardless of their status of health, presentation, and symptoms (or lack thereof), with a focus on preventative maintenance and wellness care. Upon completion of his degrees, Dr. Allan returned to Australia to practice with his father Dr. Rob N. Allan, owned and practiced with his wife Dr. Jagoda Allan in New Zealand, and then they and their young family returned to Canada where Dr. Jagoda hails from. Dr. Allan started off his career in Canada at Burnaby Chiropractic, where he practiced for 5 years with Dr. Deni Cortese. He then concurrently took over the practice in Port Coquitlam from Dr. William Rogal where he has been since 2020 and is now solely practicing here. Dr. Allan is a family chiropractor seeing everyone from babies to the elderly, sports people and everyone in between. He is looking forward to being of service. Dr. Allan is currently undertaking an 80 hour post graduate course in paediatric chiropractic care with PX Docs.
When you first enter our office, you will be greeted by one of our chiropractic assistants. They will show you how to fill the required forms, and assist you with any enquiries you may have, as well as find out who has referred you to our office. As all of our care at POCO Chiropractic is tailored to you, we do an extensive initial consultation to evaluate you and your presentation which will consist of: - A thorough health history. - A comprehensive chiropractic assessment and physical examination, to identify what is and isn’t functioning properly in your spine and nerve system, and if you are in the appropriate place. - Insight Neurological Scans - Request any previous plain film (x-ray) or special imaging (MRI, CT, Ultrasound/s) that you may have had or most recent lab tests. We may capture new X-ray images in-house or request new imaging (plain film, ultrasound, MRI or CT scan) from your GP, specialist or hospital. We will make any appropriate referrals (if required), for both co-management or exclusive management by other professionals.
