Margaret is a University of Toronto graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy (1992) and has been practicing for 25 years. She has completed post-graduate courses in the areas of orthopaedics and sports physiotherapy as well as three years of studies at the Canadian College of Osteopathy. She joined Club Physio Plus in 2000. Margaret is a keen advocate of acupuncture – her expertise is in the area of Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS), also known as dry needling, which she has been practicing since 1996. She also studied Traditional Chinese Acupuncture at the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada. She is experienced in treating chronic pain, repetitive strain, and overuse type of injuries. She competed in speed skating and volleyball during her academic years but her true passions are tennis and alpine skiing, which she continues to pursue. Her newly found areas of interest are strength and conditioning, which she is eager to share with all of her clients. Margaret asks for all her clients to please a mask for all assessments and treatments.
