I'm Burgandy, the owner of Cedar Bodyworks. I've been a massage therapist since 2014. I stared my career in the medical field right out of High School. I did phlebotomy and CNA work. Every time I started school for my nursing something big would happen to me. it was the universe's way of telling that was not my path. I took a year off from the medical field and found life had a little less of a purpose. I knew helping people is where I belonged. I found a great school in SLC called Myotherapy and knew it was the right fit for me. I jumped in taking all sports and injury classes. A year out of school I was accepted into a Structural Integration program. I worked in a sports clinic for a year an half and then had mentor take me in and teach me soft tissue manipulation, My work 3 years in was lacking relaxation and I knew it had its place I set off to learn different modalities. I enjoy helping people connect to a healthier them
Prenatal massage offers comfort and relief during pregnancy. It helps ease muscle tension, reduce swelling, and support relaxation for both body and mind. However, for the safety of both mother and baby, we cannot provide prenatal massage during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.
