Erika holds a Diploma of Acupuncture with distinction from MacEwan University. Erika is a licensed Acupuncturist with the College of Acupuncturists of Alberta (CAA). She blends her knowledge of Eastern and Western medicine to create an individualized treatment plan for each person. From an early age, Erika was passionate about finding a career which made a positive impact on the lives of others. Her desire to help others with acupuncture was solidified when she took her Yoga Teacher Training and had the opportunity to deepen her knowledge of the body and Eastern medicine. With her gentle, holistic approach to treatments, Erika’s goal is to provide a space where her clients feel understood, supported and relaxed. She is passionate about using acupuncture for a variety of conditions but feels most aligned to her purpose when helping others with musculoskeletal pain, digestive disorders, stress relief and mental- emotional disorders. Along with Traditional Chinese Medicine acupuncture, Erika is also trained in fire cupping, gua sha, TCM nutrition counseling, moxibustion, electro- acupuncture, tui na massage, facial rejuvenation and auricular acupuncture.
This traditional Chinese medicine technique aims to alleviate pain, reduce inflammation, and enhance overall well-being. The treatment is generally painless, promoting relaxation and addressing various conditions through a holistic approach to health.
