She holds a Bachelors degree in Social Work from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she developed a strong foundation in understanding people, supporting emotional wellbeing, and creating safe, respectful spaces for others. Her background shapes the way she approaches carealways with empathy, attentiveness, and a genuine appreciation for each persons unique experience. Katie graduated from Birmingham School of Massage in Alabama. She blends Swedish massage techniques with thoughtful deep tissue work, guided by an intuitive, heart-centered approach that honors her clients needs in each session. Her practice focuses on creating a deeply relaxing experience where tension melts away and her clients can reconnect with their body's natural wisdom. Through caring touch and presence, she helps facilitate not just physical release, but a holistic sense of calm and renewal. As a Reiki Master following the Usui Shiki Ryh lineage, Katie offers gentle, intuitive energy sessions designed to support relaxation and encourage the bodys natural ability to rebalance. She creates an environment where clients can slow down, breathe, and step away from the busyness of everyday life. Outside her practice, Katie finds renewal in the outdoors. She enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time in nature, where she feels most connected and inspired. These experiences inform her approach to massage therapy and Reikireminding her of the value of stillness, presence, and letting healing unfold at its own pace.
