Hello! My name is Chung Duong. I am a Registered Physiotherapist with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology from York University. Fitness has always been an important part of my life and has played a significant role in helping me stay physically and mentally healthy. Through my own experiences with weight training and injury recovery, I understand how valuable it is to have the right healthcare professional guiding and supporting you throughout the rehabilitation process. These experiences strengthened my appreciation for physiotherapy and inspired me to pursue a career dedicated to helping others overcome setbacks and achieve their goals. I have a strong interest in treating musculoskeletal conditions across the lifespan and helping individuals return to the activities that bring them joy, purpose, and fulfillment. As a physiotherapist, my goal is to provide individualized care by taking the time to understand what is most important to each person and tailoring treatment to their unique needs. My approach combines education, hands-on therapy, exercise prescription, and lifestyle modifications to help patients recover from injury, build confidence in their bodies, and achieve lasting results. Alongside my clinical work, I have extensive experience with strength training and fitness. My personal background in resistance training provides valuable insight into the physical demands of exercise, injury prevention, and performance, allowing me to support individuals ranging from those new to exercise to experienced gym-goers working toward specific goals. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy weight training, biking, skipping rope, playing video games, watching anime, and exploring new Korean BBQ restaurants with friends and family. I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your goals!
