I graduated from CCRI’s Therapeutic Massage Program in 2015. For the past nine years I have worked in small massage office settings doing table and chair massage. I enjoy massage therapy, because I like working with people on an individual basis in a quiet, peaceful environment. I enjoy the challenge of mixing science with technique to find ways to care for my clients. Some continuing education classes I have taken include Integrated Positional Release, Ortho-Bionomy, cupping, and manual lymphatic drainage. When I am not massaging you may find me immersed in a book, sailing with the Sea Scouts, or hiking with my dog.

Lymphatic Drainage
Lymphatic Drainage is a very gentle light therapeutic touch that helps to direct lymphatic fluid towards the lymph nodes. The lymphatic system is part of your immune system. MLD may help people with swelling due to surgery, injury, medication, prenancy, or a disorder of a body system. MLD is very light and methodical which helps to calm the nervous system and may be the right bodywork for people who cannot tolerate pressure.
