Alex graduated with a BSc (Honours) in Physiotherapy from Manchester University in the UK in 2005. Since graduating, Alex worked for the NHS in the UK completing junior rotations in musculoskeletal outpatients, orthopaedic surgery (trauma and elective), intensive care, neurology and community physiotherapy. After moving to Canada, Alex has worked in private practice and has gone on to transfer her UK medical acupuncture certificate to be approved in Canada as well as earning her certification as a Chan Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation practitioner. Alex currently treats all orthopaedic and sports related injuries through a combined approach of manual therapy, dry needling and exercise therapy to maximize strength, function and recovery. In her spare time when she is not running around after her young family Alex enjoys mountain biking, skiing, boxing and hiking.
