Alex graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology degree with a specialization in rehabilitation in 2019. From there, he went directly into the Osteopathy program at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in Hamilton where he graduated with a Master in Practice Diploma of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences. This is a 4 year program where students are taught the principles of osteopathy as well as the fundamentals of anatomy, physiology, and osteopathic theory. This knowledge is then built upon each year until every student is an expert in the field. Alex is a member of OSTCAN. Members of OSTCAN have completed a minimum of 4 years of osteopathic education with a minimum of 4200 hour. This includes a minimum of 1000 hours of supervised clinical practice and training which meets the Type 1 standards of education outlined by the World Health Organization (WHO).
