Palvir earned her Diploma in Massage Therapy, graduating in April 2022 at CDI College. She had the privilege of being taught by some renowned practitioners/ massage therapists. Palvir likes to combine the knowledge she has gained with her strong desire to help people heal and understand the importance of a healthy body. She believes optimal healing is done mentally and physically which can be achieved from massage therapy. Palvir works with a variety of patients to achieve their personal goals. She cares for her patients and wants to get to know them to create the perfect plan. During the session Palvir does a thorough assessment so she can dictate what modalities would be the best fit for the patient. Some techniques Palvir incorporates during treatment are joint mobilizations, soft tissue manipulation, myofascial work and deep tissue work. She works with clients who work in hard labor, people dealing with post MVA injuries, sprains/strains, postnatal work to help moms get back to their normal activities of daily living, and healing any scar tissue. Palvir had the opportunity to do practicum at a student clinic where she worked with many pathologies like MS, Fibromyalgia, and disc herniation. She also had the chance to go to an out-reach at a Senior Home where she worked with seniors helping with their underlying conditions and mobility restrictions. Outside of the clinic setting you will find Palvir reading a book at a cafe, or having a nice stroll by a body of water with her dog. She loves hiking and going for bike rides in the summer. She also loves spending time with her friends trying new foods/ restaurants. She is invested in her patients to achieve the best treatment plan within the treatment room itself, along with homecare knowledge to take with them to have a faster recovery. Palvir is happily welcoming new patients to her practice, whether it be private or ICBC.
