Anker graduated with her Master’s of Science degree in Physical Therapy at Queens University. Following her Master’s, Anker completed post-graduate courses in Acupuncture/Dry Needling and Concussion Management, which is incorporated into her current practice. Anker was a competitive swimmer province wide for 10 years. Her passion to develop her body to peak athletic performance through swimming was her first step in finding a love for physical fitness. From injury to peak performance, she quickly realized the importance of movement and the role it plays on daily living. Anker’s passion for helping others get back to what they love is what sparked her interest in Physiotherapy. She strongly believes that building a strong rapport with her clients and working towards specific, meaningful goals will help them achieve optimal results. Anker uses a combined approach of manual therapy, exercise prescription, cupping therapy, acupuncture/dry needling, and education to assist her clients on their road to recovery. Outside of the clinic, you can find Anker at a group fitness class, at a cottage, playing with dogs, or spending time with her friends/family.
