Hello, I'm Shana Matney and I've been a Licensed Massage Therapist for over 22 years in Madison andthe surrounding communities. I also have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Community Health Education from UW La Crosse. I specialize in Therapeutic Massage which incorporates many different modalities such as; Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Stretching, Cupping, Gua Sha, and many more. Every massage is specifically tailored to the individuals needs at the time of service. Aromatherapy, hot towels, cupping, stones and Gua Sha are included at no charge if desired. I'm currently not accepting new clients because my workload is at max. I like to educate my clients on self care and what they can do at home to keep the benefits of their massage going. I've lived in Colorado and worked for the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration inBoulder and it's there that my love of Bodywork began. I enjoy rock climbing, hiking, camping, fishing, gardening, being on the water and spending time with my family outside.
Every Massage is customized to the clients individual needs at that time. A variety of modalities may be used (as needed) such as: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Cupping, Sports, Stretching, or Neuromuscular Therapy. All Massages include (if preferred) aromatherapy and heated table warmer and heating pad or hot towels. And you will always be professionally draped.
