Sofia received her Diploma of Osteopathy (DO, Spain) from the Osteopathy School of Madrid (EOM) in 2006. Over the last 30 years, she has worked in the Public Health System of Venezuela, advising patients in preventive and primary healthcare. She has provided comprehensive physical rehabilitation with Osteopathy, physiotherapy, and postural re-education. In Canada, working as a Manual Practitioner of Osteopathy, Sofia uses non-invasive strategies, focusing on a comprehensive and holistic approach - where every structure in the body is in constant interaction, each having a role in the function of the body. Prevention is the primary goal, along with restoring balance within the body. She uses a range of techniques to address cranial, visceral, joint, and osteoarticular systems. Sofia works with patients of all ages and is committed to providing the best care possible. She is a member in good standing of both the Canadian Alliance for Alternative Medicine (ACMA) and the International Osteopathic Association. Speaks English and Spanish
