Chutarrat (Yink) graduated from a 5-year program of Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) program in Oshio College of Acupuncture & Herbology, Victoria B.C, after having previously obtained a B.Sc of Nursing from Thailand. She worked as an operating room nurse for 14 years and practiced TCM on Vancouver Island before relocating to Kenora in 2024. Chutarrat started her Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) program at the Medical College of Xiamen University, China. During her studying period, she worked as a volunteer in the university TCM clinic, where she saw 40-60 patients on average during a typical 6-hour shift. She observed a wide variety of diseases and treatments by her professors that have given her a solid foundation for the TCM approach to disease. While studying at Oshio College in Victoria, B.C. She studied under Dr.Gang Lin Yin who is a reputable TCM doctor in the region. During her practice in B.C, she also conducted a research study project about Women’s Health with TCM treatment, in collaboration with Oshio College under the supervision of Dr. Gang Lin Yin. Chutarrat is especially interested in the area of reproductive health (i.e. hormone imbalance, period-menopausal issues and fertility enhancement). She is currently working towards becoming a member of The Acupuncture and TCM Board of Reproductive Medicine (ABORM). Furthermore, she has dealt successfully with a wide variety of pain management cases (i.e. arthritis, fibromyalgia, injury-related pain) With her unique background as an experienced healthcare provider, Chutarrat’s practice is based on both Eastern classical approaches and also modern Western medicine with its Evidence-based practice.
