Dr. Shawn Noaman is thrilled to serve his hometown of St. Catharines. While completing his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Brock University, Dr. Noaman recognized the importance of keeping the body strong and utilizing proper biomechanics after a deadlifting injury forced him to visit a chiropractor. The benefits he experienced were life changing, and made him fall in love with the profession. While completing his Doctoral studies at D’Youville University in Buffalo, Dr. Noaman was fortunate enough to treat athletes on the Buffalo Bandits as well as those playing numerous varsity sports. During this time, he also became fascinated with the interconnection between mind and body, and is a large proponent of mindfulness and meditation. Dr. Noaman utilizes a combination of spinal manipulation, soft tissue mobilization, active release, stretches and exercises. It is his mission to empower individuals by showing them that if we improve our movement patterns, increase our mobility, and strengthen our bodies, we can protect ourselves from many of the body’s ailments. You don’t need to live with that pinched nerve in your neck, or the constant headaches, the aches and pains in your low back or the soreness between your shoulder blades! In his spare time, Dr. Noaman loves lifting weights, playing basketball, swimming, running, biking, and hiking.
