Dr. Alex Vanderlinden is originally from Antigonish, NS, where he graduated as an Academic All-Canadian student athlete at St. Francis Xavier University in 2014. He then continued to study at New York Chiropractic College, in upstate New York and graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic in 2018. He has been practicing in different clinic settings around the HRM since! Dr. Alex prides himself on listening to clients first. He utilizes movement based examinations to assist clients to reach positive outcomes. Treatments can include spinal and joint manipulations, soft tissue treatments, active rehabilitation exercise plans and education regarding your diagnosis. He has a passion for working with active individuals who want to get back to moving pain-free and doing what they love. He has experience working with various populations including active families, professional athletes, and everyone in between. Most recently he helped our RCMP and military veteran community and assisted individuals with complex presentations involving chronic physical pain and mental health disorders. Dr. Alex is a board certified member in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Chiropractors and the Canadian Chiropractic Association. He has experience with the Titleist Performance Institute and can help athletes with their game. When not in the clinic, you will find Dr. Alex enjoying his time with his girlfriend and two dogs, and working on his own golf game. He can’t wait to meet you at PROTx Elmsdale!
