Registered Massage Therapist, Integrative Manual Therapist Background: Kathleen always knew she wanted to work in healthcare. Her experiences growing up with chronic pain also served to increase her passion for helping others with the therapies that had made such a difference for her. Kathleen’s study of Massage Therapy and Osteopathy gives her a unique understanding of the interconnectedness of the body, as well as a highly trained sense of touch. She offers Massage Therapy Treatments and Integrative Manual Therapy; which is guided by Osteopathic principals and approaches . The goal is to find the root cause of pain and dysfunction, and to bring all body systems back into balance and alignment. When not at work, you’ll find Kathleen practicing yoga or reading in a café. Specialties: Kathleen has significant experience working with chronic pain, injury recovery and postural imbalances. She also specializes in treating women’s health conditions such as endometriosis and PCOS. She practices with a trauma informed approach and has skills and passion for working with people who experience mental health conditions and neurodivergence. Kathleen also enjoys working with babies and children, helping give their bodies a healthy start to life. Certifications: Kathleen graduated from the Massage Therapy program at Georgian College in 2014. She then completed the four year classroom/clinical program at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in 2021 Kathleen practices under the title of Registered Massage Therapist and integrates her Osteopathic training into her treatments. She is registered with the CMTO for Insurance Coverage. Most Extended Insurance Plans will have coverage for Registered Massage, please check your insurance provider for details. Integrative Manual treatments also should be submitted as Registered Massage.

Functional movement & postural assessment, followed by hands on treatment that may include craniosacral, visceral manipulations, joint manipulations, and other hands-on Osteopathic techniques and soft tissue treatment. Integrative Manual Therapy does not include typical Swedish massage techniques. Please wear or bring nonrestrictive shorts and t-shirt or similar athletic clothes that allow you to move easily.
