Crystal is a registered physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. She brings energy, experience, and evidence-based practice to the ATP Clinic. Crystal graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelors in Physiotherapy in 2005 and from the University of British Columbia with a Masters in Rehabilitation Science in 2016. She is certified in acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada; certified in GTT – dry needling through the Gokavi Institute, and certificated to practice spinal manipulation through the SWODEAM Institute. Additionally, she has taken many advanced courses in orthopaedics, pelvic health, diagnostic imaging, myofascial release, pain management, movement impairment syndromes, and corrective kinesiotaping. Throughout her career, she has worked in public and private practice and has worked extensively with sports injuries, work injuries, repetitive strains and motor vehicle accidents in acute and tertiary settings. She has enjoyed working with sporting events such as the NORCECA (North/Central America And Caribbean) International Beach Volleyball Competitions as well as local and regional level golf, soccer, and swimming matches/tournaments. Outside of work as a physiotherapist in Burlington, Crystal enjoys renovation projects, hiking and travelling.
