Dr. Tyler Nancekivell completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Northeast College of Health Sciences, where he developed a strong foundation in evidence-informed chiropractic care, functional assessment, and patient-centered treatment planning. Prior to his chiropractic education, Dr. Nancekivell earned his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from Brock University, where his interest in human performance and rehabilitation first began. He was involved with Brock Sports Medicine as a student trainer, working with the hockey team throughout his degree. During his time at Northeast, Dr. Nancekivell completed clinical rotations at the Depew Health Center, where he gained valuable experience managing a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, from spinal dysfunction to sports-related injuries. He worked closely with patients to improve mobility, function, and quality of life through a combination of manual therapy, exercise prescription, and lifestyle modification. He achieved an Advanced Certificate in Sports and Human Performance and through his Chiropractic journey visited the United States Winter Olympic Training Facility and the NFL combine to learn from high level athletes and practitioners. Dr. Nancekivell’s professional interests include sports injury management, functional rehabilitation, and optimizing performance through movement-based care. He is passionate about helping individuals of all activity levels, from athletes to everyday movers, achieve their health and performance goals. Outside the clinic, Dr. Nancekivell is an advocate for lifelong learning and continues to expand his clinical skills through ongoing education in areas such as soft tissue therapy, movement assessment, and functional training. He has continued to be involved in sport by currently working with the Elgin Middlesex Canucks U18 team as their trainer. Dr. Nancekivell is certified in Integrated Acupuncture.
