Dr. Tim McCurry, a native of Dallas, Texas, is a dedicated chiropractor with a passion for helping patients achieve optimal health through personalized, evidence-based care. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Music from the University of North Texas in 2016. While pursuing his undergraduate degree, Dr. McCurry worked at a local physical therapy clinic, where he developed a strong foundation in exercise rehabilitation and discovered his calling in physical medicine. Dr. McCurry went on to earn his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker University in 2021. During his time at Parker, he demonstrated leadership as class president and founded the Parker Endurance Sports Club. This student organization brought together aspiring chiropractors to learn from experts about the nuances of treating endurance athletes and created a community through swimming, cycling, and running. As an accomplished triathlete, Dr. McCurry brings a unique perspective to his practice. A five-time Ironman finisher, he has competed in numerous triathlons, including multiple USAT Age Group and Collegiate Club National Championships, half-Ironman events, and a personal favorite, the 2016 ITU World Championships in Cozumel, Mexico. His firsthand experience as a competitive triathlete informs his approach to treating endurance athletes, allowing him to address their specific needs and challenges effectively. Dr. McCurry’s treatment philosophy is holistic and patient-centered, combining active and manual therapies. His expertise includes prescriptive exercise programs, dry needling, Active Release Technique (ART), and other advanced modalities to treat the root cause of pain, enhance performance, and prevent injuries. His mission is to help patients succeed in all of their athletic endeavors. When not in the clinic, Dr. McCurry enjoys staying active in the triathlon community, consistently hosting social runs, track workouts, and organizing long rides and runs, as well as spending time in the mountains hiking and skiing.

Initial Assessment and treatment

- This 60 minute appointment will include a comprehensive health history review, thorough physical examination, and immediate treatments including chiropractic adjustments, dry needling, muscle work, and personalized corrective exercise rehab.
