Annabel is a former Junior British international sprinting champion, with her massage therapy roots stemming back to 1995. She completed a Sport Massage diploma (UK) in 1995 and then graduated in 2010 from the 3000 hour, Registered Massage Therapy program at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in BC, Canada. Annabel has completed her 6 month Comprehensive Breast and Chest Course with “The Mastectomy Guide” program for Breast, Chest and Oncology massage and already has several years clinical experience working with this client group. She had her first experience working with mastectomy whilst in massage school in 2010 which became her focus for her case study. Since that time, her interest and passion for this has peaked and she is keen to become more competent and proficient, believing this is a greatly needed and underserved area of massage therapy. Annabel is currently accepting breast surgery clients, chest (gender affirming) and oncology ( breast cancer) patients. Friday’s are specifically reserved for this practice focus, but you may book any day if you wish. In addition to above, Annabel had been part of the BC Bike Race Wellness team for over 5 years, providing massage therapy for over 600 mountain bikers, at a 7 day multi stage event. She has also worked at the Rugby Sevens event, providing therapy to the players and at the Hometown Terry Fox Fun with Coast Therapy. She is experienced and comfortable working with children, seniors, and those with intellectual and physical limitations, and has a multitude of post-graduate training in various modalities and approaches. In her spare time, Annabel is an avid singer, spending time with family and friends, cruising the trails on her bike, kayaking and weight training. She has a warm, funny, and empathic nature, and is deeply committed to her clients care and well being.
