I’m a blind massage therapist who specializes in headache/migraine management, modern cupping, lymphatic drainage, and working with special populations. I utilize many therapeutic techniques as well as listening to my client's body to heal in a more intuitive way. Engaging the parasympathetic nervous system (aka the body’s rest and digest mode) is my main priority in the massage. My massage style is slow myofascial work with a sprinkling of sports and trigger point work.
Massage
Choose this service if you would like a full body massage for relaxation or general pain management OR if you would like focus work on a single problem area (i.e neck/upper back). A full hour of all my skills and tools completely focused on your pain and tension. I do not separate my massages into different modalities as every client needs a custom combination of relaxation, therapeutic, deep tissue, and myofascial work. There are no add on fees for use of hot stones or cupping
Reflexology
60 minute reflexology appointment with hot towels included.
Lymphatic Drainage
Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a type of gentle light massage which is intended to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues and filters them out via the lymph nodes, playing a vital role in the immune system. This modality aids with surgical recovery, edema, immune function, or when nodes have been removed for medical reasons. This includes abdominal massage. For an extra $10 a castor oil pack will be included in this treatment.
