1060 Austin Avenue, Unit 101, Coquitlam, BC, V3K 3P3

Natasha is a recent graduate of West Coast College of Massage Therapy, and a previous graduate from UBC with a degree in Kinesiology, bringing a multifaceted approach to care in her treatment room. Whether you are looking for relaxation, treatment of general aches and pains, or would like more specific conditions addressed, Natasha customizes her approach to suit every individual’s varied needs. Natasha completed her schooling to become an RMT with experience in a variety of areas, including treatments of acute and chronic injuries, chronic illnesses, neurological conditions, scars, and various forms of held tension. She is expanding her understanding of how tension, in many different forms, is held within the body, and how massage can help improve each person’s state of being. By considering the whole body’s response to an injury, condition, or pain, she can address the system as a whole, rather than one specific symptom. Capria Care Collective appealed immediately to Natasha based on their collaborative approach to care, and inclusive, supportive approach to every aspect of the experience within the building. Practicing in a space that aligns with her values is of utmost importance to Natasha, and making sure each person feels safe, heard, and considered while in her treatment room is her goal every day. She strives to create a space that combines evidence-based approaches to care with an understanding of the individual. Each person has different needs, and Natasha hopes to encourage open and honest communication to facilitate meeting those needs throughout the treatment. Natasha enjoys working with people with chronic illnesses and neurological conditions altering sensation to find comfortable and effective modes of treatment. She understands how differently pain is felt not only by each person, but can be felt on different areas of the same body. Natasha has had success treating patients who have experienced pain or overpressure during past treatments, finding the correct threshold to make massage enjoyable and therapeutic. She is comfortable treating to deep pressures, and will always treat to pressure and specificity of patient comfort. When not in the treatment room, you can find Natasha out in nature with her trusty sidekick, her dog Hazel. Usually they’re somewhere in a forest, learning to trail run, or training for their next running milestone.
