Yvonne Moir is an evidence-based, trauma-informed RMT who has been providing inclusive, patient-centered care since 2009. Though no longer based in Toronto after relocating to Tiny, ON, they continue to welcome new patients while prioritizing transparency—acknowledging they may not be the best fit for those requiring intensive treatment plans. Yvonne believes in collaborative care and happily refers patients to trusted colleagues when ongoing support is needed. A lifelong student of bodywork and movement, Yvonne is passionate about helping others restore balance through touch therapy, nervous system regulation, and mindful movement. In 2025, Yvonne took on an ambitious course load, and will complete their Yoga Teacher Training certification in June (RYT 200hrs). They’ve also studied with LA’s elite mobility expert, Sandra Jersby, with her “Stretcha Method level 1” course and completed a TMD/TMJD advanced techniques while studying under Jules Poulin, founder of North America’s only clinic for jaw, ear, voice, tongue, head and neck: “From the Neck Up”. Yvonne will also be completing their certification from the prestigious Nervous System School (Australia), as a certified clinician in co-regulation protocols for patient support. Their treatment style adapts to each patient’s needs—whether gentle or deeper work—ensuring comfort, agency, and lasting benefits both on and off the table. Yvonne encourages self-care and resilience, offering tools to build sustainable wellness routines rather than dependency. Firmly rooted in collaboration, they value working alongside talk therapists, movement coaches, and other practitioners to create a “village” of support. Their practice welcomes all with deep respect for the vulnerability and trust required in therapeutic relationships. When not in the clinic, Yvonne thrives as a professional musician, avid traveler, and outdoor enthusiast. They believe physical and mental wellness fuels their ability to care for their community—and live a joyful, purposeful life.

This therapeutic style is an integrative, nervous system-focused approach to manual therapy. It moves beyond localized pain relief to address how stress and trauma are held in the body. The practice emphasizes co-regulation, where the therapist uses their own calm presence and targeted touch to help guide the client's nervous system toward a state of safety. The work combines hands-on "tissue issue" strategies with client education, with the core goal of teaching self-regulation. The therapist acts as a guide, helping clients decode physical symptoms, build a personalized toolkit for managing their stress and pain responses, and ultimately reclaim their innate capacity for healing and resilience.
