Elise graduated with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan School of Physical Therapy in 1996, and the College of Physical Education in 1997. Since becoming a Physiotherapist, Elise has worked in private practice in Saskatoon in a variety of roles. She was the manger of multidisciplinary teams, performing assessments and treatment programs for WCB, SGI, and other insurance companies. She has also taught at the School of Physical Therapy since 2008, as a sessional lecturer and lab instructor. In 2021, she received the Award of Merit for Clinical Excellence from the Saskatchewan Physiotherapy Association. Over the years, Elise has continued to develop her skills and expertise in Vestibular therapy, helping patients with dizziness and balance issues. In 2010, she completed the competency-based Vestibular Rehabilitation course at Emory University School of Medicine. In 2016, she attended the advanced vestibular competency course at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Elise has a keen interest in treating infants and children. In 2018, she completed a course for assessment and treatment of torticollis and plagiocephaly at the children’s hospital Tufts Medical Center. She has also taken courses in cancer care, concussions, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions over the years. Elise is licensed with the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists. She is bilingual (fluent in French).
