**Desiree is not currently accepting new patients.** Desiree is a registered massage therapist and yoga teacher. After beginning her journey as a fitness and yoga instructor, she quickly realized she wanted to further support her clients. She went on to graduate with honours from Vicars School of Massage Therapy. Desiree is additionally trained in cupping, hot stone, fascial stretch therapy, and functional range conditioning. An athlete herself, she understands the importance of taking care of your mind and body, and has a deep passion for sport medicine. Desiree specializes in working with equestrians and also enjoys working with active individuals, supporting them on their journey to health and wellness. When not at the massage table, you can find Desiree horseback riding, enjoying a fitness or yoga class, traveling, or at home on her acreage with her husband and fur family.
A combination of therapeutic massage techniques (deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and more) with the added benefit of hot stones. Heat therapy is known to increase circulation, address pain and tension in the body, and decrease soft tissue tightness.
