My path as a Licensed Massage Therapist is in many ways a meandering path. Although I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, I have spent time living in several places before returning to my hometown. And like many people, arriving at a career in Massage Therapy was also a bit of a journey from my childhood aspirations of becoming a physician. The stops and starts, veering off course to learn or address different pieces of a puzzle led me to massage school and practice as a LMT in Albany, New York and New Jersey before bringing me back to my hometown. It has not been a direct or expedient path, but without having followed a meandering path, I would not be the LMT I am today. I am excited to join the team at Postoperative and Therapeutic Massage in providing Manual Lymph Drainage, Cupping, Hot Stone massage, Swedish or prenatal massage as indicated for clients looking to recover from surgery or relax.
