Elyse Greenberg received her Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Saskatchewan in 2012, following completion of a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Regina in 2009. She has a special interest in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal chronic pain conditions. From 2023 to 2025, Elyse completed the Graduate Certificate in Chronic Pain Management at McGill University. Through this training, she developed advanced knowledge in modern pain science, the biopsychosocial model of care, and interdisciplinary pain management strategies. She integrates this knowledge into clinical practice by helping clients better understand their pain experience and by using evidence-based rehabilitation approaches that address movement, nervous system sensitivity, lifestyle factors, and overall function. From 2013 to 2019, Elyse pursued extensive post-graduate training in orthopaedic manual therapy through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, completing Level 5 of the program. In 2018, she completed her Biomedical Dry Needling certification and regularly incorporates dry needling into treatment to address muscular dysfunction and help clients achieve their rehabilitation goals. In May 2017, Elyse became a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance. She enjoys integrating principles from yoga, including breath work, mobility, and mindful movement, into rehabilitation to support long-term recovery and resilience. Since joining Stapleford Health & Rehab in 2014, Elyse has continued to grow both professionally and personally through the clients she treats and the colleagues she works alongside. She strongly believes in the process of recovery—physically, mentally, and emotionally—and in helping people rebuild confidence in their bodies.
