Xiaohang (Daniel) Graduated from Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in 1994 and worked as an acupuncturist in one of the best TCM hospitals in China until 2013. He gained an abundance of experience treating different ailments including sports injuries, acute and chronic pain, post stroke symptoms, sciatica, headaches, anxiety, digestive and menstrual issues, and much more. Daniel uses a combination of techniques including needling, cupping, scraping, Chinese massage, electric acupuncture, acupressure, and moxibustion. Acupuncture Initial Assessment 60 Minutes

Initial Appointment includes a mandatory 10 minute Inital Assessment in order to create the best treatment plan possible. Acupuncture is the insertion of thin, metal needles to stimulate specific points (acupoints) of the body that reach meridians. According to Traditional Chinese medicine, there are 365 commonly used acupoints on 20 meridians on the human body. Your therapist may use a combination of Traditional Chinese Medicine Techniques during your appointment such as cupping, electroacupuncture, chinese massage, moxibustion (heat therapy), and acupressure. Acupuncture is used to treat many different ailments, including acute and chronic pain, sports injuries, allergy symptoms, digestive and menstrual problems, sciatica, depression, post stroke symptoms, the list goes on.
